Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy.
We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also answer questions about the therapy process and begin discussing what our work might look like.
You don’t need to prepare anything special or know exactly what to say. We’ll start wherever you are.
-
Sessions are scheduled by appointment. We’ll determine a schedule that makes sense based on your needs, goals, and availability.
-
Sessions are typically 50 minutes once a week, though some clients choose biweekly or more intensive schedules depending on their needs. We’ll set a rhythm that works best for your goals and lifestyle.
-
Private pay rates for my practice are $185 per session for individuals and $200 per session for couples.
Please contact me for insurance-related questions. I believe in being transparent about the cost of care and am happy to answer any financial questions before you begin.

I understand that schedules change. Because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, I ask that you provide advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
