Clinical Supervision

Find Your Voice as a Clinician

Supervision is about more than completing the hours required for licensure. It’s a dedicated space to ask questions, work through challenging cases, strengthen your clinical judgment, and become more confident in who you are as a therapist.

My supervision style is warm, collaborative, reflective, and practical. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I will help you think critically about your work, explore different perspectives, and develop a clinical approach that feels both effective and authentic to you.

Our time together may include case consultation, treatment planning, ethics and boundaries, documentation, professional development, and the everyday questions and challenges that come with growing into your role as a clinician.

Working Toward LCMHC Licensure

I provide clinical supervision for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates (LCMHCAs) working toward independent LCMHC licensure in North Carolina.

Supervision is typically scheduled on a consistent basis as you accumulate your supervised professional practice hours. North Carolina requires LCMHCAs to complete at least 100 hours of clinical supervision, with at least 75 hours completed through individual supervision.

I primarily offer individual supervision, giving you consistent one-on-one time to focus on your clinical work, professional development, and progress toward licensure.

Together, we will keep track of your supervision hours and make sure your supervision remains aligned with North Carolina licensing requirements. Before supervision begins, we will also complete the required supervision contract for approval by the North Carolina Board.
